You are invited to volunteer at the Butler County Children's Water Education Festival on Friday, January 19, 2024.
During the festival, elementary school classroom groups will participate in hands-on activities to teach them about the importance of water both as a natural resource and as a source of drinking water.
We are seeking volunteers to help us guide the classroom groups through the event as well as volunteers to help with the logistics. No experience is required! Descriptions of the various volunteer activities are provided below.

Volunteers at the Water Festival staff the following activities:
Classroom
School Guides: School guides lead the classroom groups attending the festival as they visit a variety of presentations. The volunteer will be resposnible for leading the class to its scheduled presentations on the campus. These volunteers will be paired with their class as the schools arrive. For continuity, we would prefer that the school guides be available for the full 5 hours the school will be on campus. Volunteers will be informed of their time slots prior to the festival (Wednesday or Thursday - via email).
Logistics
All logisitics volunteers will receive their assignments the day of the festival and arrival time will be communicated via email the day before. We will attempt to honor all special requests based on the number of volunteers.
