19th Annual Ride for The Refuge -
Albion Location
on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 (Labor Day)
Pedal for a purpose at the 19th Annual Ride for The Refuge on Labor Day and enjoy a great day of bicycling while helping to end homelessness for families with children.
The Ride for The Refuge is a charity bicycle ride featuring scenic tours of various distances at each of our two event locations: Shades Beach in East Erie County and Albion Borough Park in West Erie County. This is not a race, but an event for bicycle enthusiasts of all abilities. Participants will enjoy a great ride through scenic country, water/snack stops along the way, sag wagon services and our free (and fabulous) Riders' Picnic.
Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Start times are as follows:
- 8:00 a.m.: 100k route
- 8:30 a.m.: 50k and 25k routes
EUMA's The Refuge is the only homeless shelter system in the region that keeps dads, moms and children together through their housing crisis. In 2017, The Refuge ended immediate homelessness for 109 families, including 233 children.
Cost:
Pre-Registration through 8/22 (includes free Ride for The Refuge t-shirt)
- Adult: $25
- Child (15 and under): $15
Registration (8/23 through 9/3):
- Adult: $35
- Child (15 and under): $20
Online registration will close on Aug. 30. Interested riders can also register at the event.

Team Option - please note the team option during the registration process which helps us track and recognize efforts by particular groups.
This is a fundraising event to end homelessness for families with children in our community. Participants are encouraged to raise support/pledges in addition to their registration. Click here for the donation pledge sheet.
