Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago will host its 2019 Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 21, 2019. We invite you to help us celebrate this inspirational evening honoring civic leaders positively impacting Chicagoland communities.

   

Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago, Inc. (NHS)

Established in 1975, NHS is a nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable resources to working families in the Chicago region so they can buy, fix, and keep their homes.  NHS stimulates community reinvestment through a partnership of residents, businesses, and government.  With the help of dedicated partners, NHS has leveraged investment of more than 1.5 billion in Chicago’s neighborhoods.

The Gale Cincotta Community Visionary Award

NHS established the Gale Cincotta Community Visionary Award to recognize outstanding leadership in the effort to rebuild neighborhoods. Gale Cincotta was a leader in community development and a founding board member of NHS. The award is presented to a community leader who exemplifies the wisdom, tenacity, innovation, and passion Gale demonstrated in her endeavor to make our neighborhoods better places to live and work.
