Join us for the 2nd Annual CCPBA Charity Fishing Tournament July 25, 2017
Benefiting Channel 3 Kids Camp

On July 25, 2017 registered anglers will board CCPBA boats (that will have come from ports including New London, Clinton, Niantic, Waterford & Groton,) located at Mago Point Marina 20 First Street, Waterford, CT 06385.

After all charter boats have been loaded a shotgun start willbe held. Charters Boats will fish proximal to one another and fish for largest Scup, Fluke and Seabass. A CCPBA party boat will host Channel 3 camera along with WFSB Channel 3 New London Bureau Chief, Kevin Hogan.

At the end of the fishing period, all Charter Boats will return together. Anglers will weigh their largest fish and compete for trophies and prizes. Please bring your own snacks and beverages.

Tickets: $75 per person which includes a 4 hour fishing trip,
all bait and tackle, t-shirt and gift bag filled with an event
program book and gifts from our sponsors.

11:00am-12:45pm - Registration

12:45pm-1:00pm - Boats Depart Docks

Aprox 1:15pm - Shotgun Start

5:00pm-5:15pm - Boats Return to Dock

Aprox 5:30pm - Weigh In - Prizes & Raffles

Who we are: The Connecticut Charter and Party Boat Association (CCPBA) is comprised of 40 charter boats fishing in the Western, Central, and Eastern Long Island Sound. Our Professional Captains have verified credentials, are held to the highest ethical standards and are out on the water everyday often acting as the shepherds of their area. For this event our Captains have not only donated their time but their Boats, mates and proven fishing techniques.
 

About the Charity: Channel 3 Kids Camp has a proud tradition of making camp accessible to all children regardless of their family's capacity to pay. They are committed to making the program affordable to all. In addition Channel 3 Kids Camp is fully accessible, welcoming children of varying abilities. Proceeds from this event help bring children to camp but also help to provide much needed resources facility maintenance. 

Register Now! By registering for our event you agree that you have read, understand and agree to the following registration/refund policy.

  • This is a fishing event designed to support our designated charity.  While our captains and crew will do everything to make your day enjoyable and productive, sometimes things do not go as planned.  There are no refunds for not catching fish, getting a sun burn, or getting motion sickness during the event.
  • While we will do our best to accommodate special requests or group bookings, boats are booked on a first come, first serve basis.  Please book early. Should you book a boat and wish to change to a different boat, we will do our best to assist you.  There is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate all requests.  Again… please book your party early.  This event sells out!
  • We understand everyone may have a favorite boat or captain, etc.  Please note sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances (boats break down, crew gets sick, tournament logistics, etc.) we may need to move you to a different boat.  Should this happen, we will do our best to work with you to get you on a different boat of your choice.  Should we not have any choice and you do not want to go to the new assigned boat, we will offer you a refund.
  • Our refund policy is as follows;
    • Refunds will only be provided if notified at least 10 days prior to the event.  While we understand things come up, late cancellations are difficult to fill and it’s not fair to the charity.  Should you cancel with less than 10 days prior to the event, your registration fee will simply be considered a donation to the charity.
    • There are no refunds for no shows or for missing your boat. Your registration fee will simply be considered a donation to the charity.  Please pay attention to your confirmation receipt, the website and the tournament reminder email for any changes in times.
    • All refunds will be processed within 10 days AFTER the event
