Competitive Grant Writing for Artists

Join the Arizona Commission on the Arts at Xico in Phoenix on Saturday, July 23, 2016, for a free 3-hour workshop designed to help artists craft superior grant applications. Whether you’re an emerging artist just learning the ropes or a seasoned pro looking to polish your presentation, this workshop covers the fundamentals while offering an insiders perspective on what funders and review panelists are looking for in a grant application.  Using the Arts Commission’s Artist Research and Development Grant as a model, participants will learn the essential components of a strong application as they play the role of reviewers in a mock grant review panel.

This event is now at capacity.

On July 20, 2016, a similar workshop will be presented by Arts Commission staff at Mesa Arts Center as part of their Creative Catalysts WAFWS workshop series. For details, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/302294513443462/

Based on demand another workshop may be scheduled within the month. To express your interest in attending a future workshop, please click here
