Torrington PAL End of the Summer Camp
Torrington PAL End of the Summer Camp will run from August 16-20 from 9am-3pm at Elks Pond. This camp is designed for middle school aged children. Registration costs $50 for your first child and $20 for each additional child.
Camp activities involve:
- Daily Zumba
- Olympics Day
- Fishing Lessons from DEEP (equipment provided)
- Demo by Trooper One Helicopter
- Visit and Demo by Torrington Police K-9 Unit
- Field trip to Action Wildlife
- Field trip to the town pool
Along with educational activities including:
- A discussion with PAL Officer Rob Simon about bullying
- A presentation from the McCall center about drug use and vaping
- An (age appropriate) sexual health and wellness presentation from the Susan B. Anthony Project
Registration Fee includes a shirt, breakfast and lunch daily, and all field trips.
Scholarship: To request a scholarship for your child please email admin@torringtonpal.org. Include your name, your child's name, and a phone number, a PAL staff member will be in touch.
PAL Refund Policy: Registration is non-refundable 7-days prior to the start date unless we receive an M.D. note. Player’s dropping prior to that time will receive a refund less a $25.00 processing fee.
