Torrington PAL Summer Cheer Camp
Torrington PAL Summer Cheer Camp will run the week of July 15, 2019- July 19, 2019 from 4pm-8pm. Cheer Camp is open to boys and girls aged 6-13. Cost of registration is $40. Camp will take place at Southwest School and will be coached by Melissa Viscariello.
Melissa Viscariello, a certified coach though the state of Connecticut and is Head Coach for the Torrington High School Coed Cheer Team where she has been for the past 17 years. She also has experience coaching at the Youth level, where her team came in 4th Place in the region.
Melissa has over 10 years of cheering experience and almost 40 years of dance experience, including several years on professional dance teams. Her passion is enriching the lives of children, a field in which she has worked for over 20 years.
With the help of some Torrington High School cheerleaders, cheer camp will include working on the following skills: Motions, jumps, tumbling and stunts. Athletes will learn cheers and a dance that will incorporate these skills. Lots of fun games will be played which will incorporate strength, endurance and team building! The final day we will showcase all we have learned for our family and friends!
Scholarship Information: To request a scholarship email admin@torringtonpal.org, include the athlete's name, parent name, and a cell phone number. A PAL staff member will contact each parent requesting scholarship and will review each request on an individual basis.

PAL Refund Policy: Registration is non-refundable 7-days prior to the start date unless we receive an M.D. note. Player’s dropping prior to that time will receive a refund less a $25.00 processing fee.
