4 Components: Bible Study, Worship Skills, Recreation, and Family Time

Logos creates an intentional arena where all ages together can learn about, experience, and practice the art of Christian relationships.  In these cross-generational gatherings, we study, pray, play, create, and eat together.

Transportation

A parent volunteer coordinates MISD buses to transport kids from Island Park,West Mercer, and Lakeridge directly from school to MIPC.  If the school district is unable to provide bus transportation parent volunteers cooperatively organize transportation using MIPC vans/buses to get kids from school to Logos.

Parent Involvement

Our Logos program is successful because of congregation and parent participation.  Parent participation creates a shared experience which forms the foundation of faith conversations for parent and child for years to come.  Parents also form the staff that leads and supports LOGOS.  Each family is asked to provide an adult to volunteer.  Volunteer roles vary widely including opportunities for parents to serve after work. Some families invite their caregivers and grandparents to help! This semester there isn't a mandatory volunteer expectation however, we need enough people available to help staff a safe and fun experience.
