Former Director of the National Park Service Jon Jarvis will discuss his latest book, co-authored with his brother, a long serving advocate for the national parks, Destry Jarvis. Jon will detail their combined 90 years of battling the politics that would undermine the stewardship of what Wallace Stegner called “America’s Best Idea”.
