Barnaby Street Shoppes, retail incubator, is pleased to announce that Kimber Lanning, Local First Arizona's founder and Executive Director, will speak with West Valley businesses and community leaders at Birt's Bistro, Bookstore & Catering on the Benevilla campus.
Ms Lanning will focus her address on Harvesting A Stronger Community, Local First Arizona is a non-profit organization "working to strengthen communities and local economies by supporting, maintaining and celebrating locally owned businesses throughout the state of Arizona."
Those arriving early will have the opportunity to network during a special Artist's Reception featuring the photography of local artist, Randy Jackson, amidst the backdrop of live music from Fossil Fuel.
In addition, the culinary team at Birt's Bistro, Bookstore and Catering on the Benevilla campus has created a delightful selection of menu items for those wishing to nosh throughout the evening including complementary light appetizers.
