Training the Tech Trainer 

Training people with little or no experience to be ophthalmic technicians can be a tedious and expensive process. In this, one of a kind, 2-day course, Eyetechs' President and Founder, Jane Shuman will train one or more of your office staff in what it takes to train clinical staff. Participants leave the session with a structured training course designed to train brand new technicians to perform the basic skills they need, including refraction, within their first 12 weeks on the job.

This seminar will be held in a local ophthalmology office and be a combination of didactic and hands on skills. Participants learn the qualities to look for in a new hire as well as how to train clinical staff to perform:
