iPhone and iPad... the iRevolution

The success of the iPhone and iPad comes from their design elegance and ease-of-use. In this class, we'll start with the basics by reviewing the various apps (short for "applications") that come standard on every iDevice and how you can use them in everyday life. Then, we'll expose some of the hidden features that make these devices customizable to your needs: from various settings to tips and tricks to make you more efficient and have more fun. (Please attend "There's an app for that!" in conjunction with this class.)

Instructor: Debbie Leight
Debbie Leight is the owner of Computers Made Easy, a Bay Area-based company that offers computer, smartphone and tablet tutoring. Debbie grew up in Silicon Valley and has worked in software for her entire career. She spent more than seven years at Google, where she trained new hires and clients in the use of Excel and conducted classes on how to use Google Apps. She founded Computers Made Easy in 2001 and today works with a wide variety of clients, from grandmothers and grandfathers with their first iPhone or iPad to small business owners who want to use technology to be more productive.

Pre-requisite: To participate in this course, you must bring your own iPhone and/or iPad.

Pre-registration required.
