Fairfield Police National Night Out 2019

Join us on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 as we celebrate National Night Out in the City of Fairfield. The safety of our communities depend on both law enforcement and the neighbors they serve. On this day, neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events. Join in on the fun!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships andneighborhood camaraderie.   National Night Out is designed to strengthen neighborhood spirit and heighten crime prevention awareness to generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts. I.e. Neighborhood Watch.
Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
The best way to build a safer community is to know your neighbors and your surroundings. Host a NNO party and share more than great recipes; discuss safety tips, future neighborhood watch plans, and more!

Neighborhoods will be hosting a variety of events ranging from small potlucks and BBQ’s to large block parties. Some additional event ideas include, but are not limited to, ice cream socials, disaster preparedness, games, contests, discussing neighborhood issues or setting neighborhood goals, food or clothing donations, plan a clean-up day, beautify a common area, discuss or plan a Neighborhood Watch Program. It’s up to you — be creative, have fun and CELEBRATE YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD!
