Sunday, February 5 - Impact Coaches Clinic in West Fargo, ND
IMPACT: Increased Mastery & Professional Application of Coaching Theory
- Course will cover Coaching Principles/Foundations, Motor Skill Learning Theory, Communication/Feedback, Coaching Philosophy, Risk Management & Athlete Safeguards, Ethics & Legal Duties, Fundamental Skills, Game, Practice & Drill design, Offensive/Defensive systems
- IMPACT COACHES CINICS focus on philosophy, ethics, safety, motivation, theory, and skill development. Officiating skills are not part of this clinic. Coaches must attend a referee/scorekeeping clinic each year to review rules and learn about rule changes.
- IMPACT COACHES CLINICS LAST 4 1/2 HOURS
- Please NOTE, office hours are from 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. We are not available to take registrations or answer questions regarding clinics after hours or on weekends. Please be sure you have all information relating to your clinic in advance!
- Impact Coaches Clinics are FREE to North Country Region members. Anyone attending an Impact Coaches Clinic who is not a member must pay a $75 egistration fee in advance. This fee only pertains to those individuals who will not be a member of North Country Region this season (i.e. participant from another Region). If your membership information as not yet been submitted, please make note of that at time of registration. Contact Jennifer with further questions.
- All coaches MUST attend at least one Impact Coaches Clinic during the duration of their Junior coaching career regardless of coaching experience and/or coaching degrees. You may attend additional Impact Coaches Clinics at no cost.
- Please note that head and assistant coaches MUST be Impact Certified in order to coach at National Qualifiers and USAV Junior Nationals.
