Integrating Siemens VFDs with Allen Bradley PLCs (Siemens SIPEC Event)
During this hands-on workshop, you will experience how to set up and control a Siemens SINAMICS drive with Allen Bradley PLCs and PanelView HMI using Studio 5000.

- Product highlights and key differentiators
- Selection and configuration tools
- Integration tools for connecting Siemens drives to Rockwell Automation controllers and HMIs
- Migration solutions for integrating new Siemens drives with discontinued Rockwell Automation controllers (PLC-5 and SLC 500) on Remote I/O and DeviceNet.
During the hands-on portion, participants will:
- Commission a SINAMICS G120 VFD
- Control a SINAMICS G120 VFD with a CompactLogix PLC on EtherNet/IP
- Control a SINAMICS G120 VFD with a PanelView HMI
