Women's Ignatian Silent Retreat

August 4-7, 2016

Join us for a Women's Ignatian Retreat from August 4-7, 2016 focused on the Ignatian Exercises. Join us and other like women for a weekend of reflection, rediscovery, and refreshment. The Spiritual Exercises are a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices developed by St. Ignatius Loyola to help people deepen their relationship with God. The cost is $280 for a single room and $250 for a double room.

Theme: Finding God in All Things

Encountering the Living God in our Everyday Lives

Saint Ignatius of Loyola believed that we encounter God at every moment of our existence. His Spiritual Exercises provide a means to help us to become more and more aware of the tender gaze of this ever-present God, a gentle Shepherd who longs to lead us along the sacred paths of our life.

Join author and spiritual director Robin Hebert as we journey through the Exercises and encounter this living God who invites us to follow Him with trust wherever He leads.

Robin Hebert is a pastoral counselor, spiritual director and retreat leader, and co-author of When Women Pray and When Wisdom Speaks. She serves Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church and Student Center on the University of Louisiana-Lafayette campus as marriage ministry coordinator, and offers her skills in spiritual direction by leading communities of students and parishioners in a deeper walk with God. She speaks regionally and nationally on themes of women's spirituality.

Robin is past national president of Theresians of the U.S., a global ministry for women seeking a communal faith experience and has been a member of her Open Heart community for over thirty years. She considers her involvement in community an indispensable gift and a vital source of her own spiritual growth.
