Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Awareness

The course is based on the 2015 edition of CSA Z462 Workplace electrical safety Standard and relevant Occupational Health and Safety requirements. This 1-day course will be of interest to Electrical Engineers, Electrical Technicians and Technologists, Electrical Workers, Supervisors and Managers as well as Electrical Inspectors and Regulators and those working with or near energized electrical components.

Participants will increase their knowledge of electrical safety and gain the necessary information to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Ray Stoodley, P.Eng. has 40 years experience in Consulting Engineering and has designed the electrical systems for many of the major facilities in the Province. Ray also taught Electrical Engineering Technology at the College of the North Atlantic.
