Objectives: (at the conclusion of the conference, participants will be able to)
1. Describe mission statement and update area of coverage of the StrokeCareNow Network
2. Discuss implementation/utilization of Secure Rad system
3. Discuss etiology and initial emergency management
4. Describe endovascular and neuro-intensive care management
5. Describe findings in the latest international trials
6. Apply the strategies for catheter-based treatment for ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients
7. Discuss assessment tools/techniques to identify and treat communication and cognition deficits following an acute stroke
8. Examine motor impairments and treatments across the continuum of care to facilitate motor recovery and maximize independence in the post-stroke population
9. Identify research protocols in which stroke patients in this region might be eligible to participate
