HUDSON HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR

How often have you walked through Hudson after dark and peeked through the windows? Just getting a glimpse of those beautiful interiors isn't enough, is it? The Hudson Holiday House Tour allows you access to 5 of those beautiful gems - all historic and all within walking distance of each other and Warren Street.  Tickets are $20.00 each.  You can learn more at our website: www.HudsonHolidayHouseTour.com.

Here are some details for tomorrow:

  1.        Your passport/map to the Tour will be available for pick up at the Barlow Hotel, 542 Warren Street from noon until 4 p.m.  Avoid any crowds, pick up your passport at your leisure after noon and have a lovely lunch at one of Hudson’s fine restaurants while waiting for the Tour to begin.

2.        At 2pm, the Westcott House, the Croff House, the Hudson B&B and the Inn at 34 will open their doors for Tour guests, remaining open until 5pm. The Houses are all within a few steps of Warren Street and walking distance of each other.  The Tour is self-guided; you can tour at your leisure and in the order you prefer.

3.        Beginning at 4 pm, The Merchant House, 10 South Front Street, will received Tour goers and from 5pm until 6pm you can stay to enjoy holiday cheer (both liquid and communal) and live holiday fiddle music.

4.        On-line ticket sales conclude at midnight tonight. If you have friends who wish to join you, “day of…” tickets will be available tomorrow at The Barlow for $25.00 each.

5.        Your passport gains your entry to each home and the festivities at the Merchant House. If you’ve booked a table for tomorrow’s lunch or dinner at Wm. Farmer & Sons or Ca’Mea Restaurant, show your passport for a 10% discount.

6.        Please consider a donation to our charity, The Hudson Children’s Book Festival.  Each year the festival brings anywhere from 3,000 – 5,000 attendees to the City of Hudson to celebrate children’s literacy.  The Festival is a free, public event fostering a love of reading as families meet and greet world-class creators of books for children of all ages and each child receives a book.
