About The Speaker
Dickson Perry: Born and raised in Yazoo City, Dickson attended Manchester Academy and Ole Miss. He started his career as an entrepreneur opening a name sake restaurant in his hometown. He then went on to start a real career in the Mississippi banking industry before being recruited to Dallas, Texas to work for Ross Perot’s Electronic Data Services (EDS). After gaining invaluable experience with EDS, Dickson returned to his entrepreneurial spirit founding a consumer loyalty marketing company, Excentus Corporation, a pioneer, patent holder, and provider of fuel rewards technology and services for major companies such as Kroger, Shell, and Mastercard. He now spends his time giving back through the Adventus Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on spreading the gospel to the incarcerated and providing transitional housing and programs to returning citizens to help reduce recidivism in MS.
