Attend this three-day workshop at McREL and learn how to combine research-based instructional strategies with 21st century tools, using strategies and frameworks from McREL’s popular ASCD book, Using Technology with Classroom Instruction That Works (2nd ed.).
This workshop will help educators learn to match instructional strategies with the tech tools that best support them. You’ll get guided hands-on practice combining instructional strategies with a variety of technology, and you’ll leave the workshop with:

K-12 educators and instructional technology staff. Be sure to bring your own laptop. Tablets are encouraged as supplemental to your laptop.
Tuition
$695 per person; discounts available for groups of three or more from the same district. Includes handouts, materials, lunch, and snacks on each day of training.
Continuing Education Credits
This workshop qualifies for continuing education credits from Adams State University.
Meet your presenter
Dr. Matt Kuhn is works with districts and schools to improve STEM instruction, instructional technology integration, technology leadership, classroom observations, and curricular design and pedagogy in mathematics and science. He is a Google Certified Teacher and a co-author of Using Technology with Classroom Instruction That Works (ASCD, 2007 & 2012). Prior to joining McREL, Matt was a secondary science/math teacher and principal. He has a bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering Technology from Embry-Riddle University, a master’s in Secondary Science Education from the University of Denver, and a doctorate in Educational Technology Administration from the University of Denver.
