Details: The sessions are intended as a 4 part series. Attendance at all workshops is preferred, but participants will benefit from attending as many sessions as they are able.

Series Description
Does your organization have a compelling story to tell and dynamic events to promote, but lack the staff and budget to get the word out? Presenters in this 4-part series will offer tips on doing more with less. You’ll learn how to make smart use of free and low-cost tools and resources, including social media, local print media and video.
 
Session Description

This workshop takes a focused look at Twitter. Participants will learn the ins and outs, explore Twitter’s features, learn why it’s beneficial for business and building brand awareness. We’ll explore privacy settings, talk about protocol for engagement and provide information/templates for organizing and tracking content. Key takeaways will include:

Presenter Bio

Named one of Minnesota Business Magazine's "Top Young Entrepreneurs," Melissa Harrison has more than 13 years of experience in branding, content marketing, social media and business ownership. Named a “Mover & Shaker” by the Star Tribune and one of the “Top 36 Content Marketers Who Rock” by the Content Marketing Institute, Harrison built her company at the young age of 27 and knows very well the trials and tribulations of starting a business. Harrison is a four-time recipient of the Hermes Creative Award and a national speaker on the topics of branding, content strategy, social media and entrepreneurship. Harrison is also certified by Google Analytics Academy in Digital Analytics Fundamentals. She was named one of 100 women to watch in the U.S. as part of The Inspirational Women Project, highlighted in a book of the same title. Harrison is also a certified fitness instructor and book lover. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Connections in St. Michael, MN.
