LOCALS - Understanding Communication Styles to Improve Your Leadership

Understanding Communication Styles to Improve Your Leadership

Thursday, April 24, 2014, 9:30 a.m to 1:00 p.m.
Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, 2324 University Ave W., St. Paul, MN 55114
Presented by Dianne Moore, in partnership with the University of St. Thomas

How do you motivate your staff, board and volunteers? What communication style in what setting will get the best results? This session focused on leadership communication will look at different ways people communicate in order to find effective ways to build consensus and create buy-in. You will look at a model for integrity, three communication cornerstones, and leave with a deeper confidence in your interactions as a leader.

Dianne Moore has over 30 years’ experience in leadership development training, working globally with organizations and individuals who want to increase their impact and effectiveness. She has co-authored two books on leadership and is a partner in Excelerated Leadership, a business consulting firm. She is also an adjunct instructor at the University of St. Thomas where her instructional focus is on leadership, communication skills, and change and conflict management.
