About the Presenter:
Lindsey Shirley, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Family and Consumer Sciences Education at Utah State University. She has been working as a teacher educator for seven years in Utah and Idaho while conducting research and developing innovative uses of technology in clothing and textiles. An integral part of her current position is serving as a Clothing and Textiles Extension Specialist. Before working at the university level, she taught junior high family and consumer sciences.
Who should register? Secondary FCS teachers, higher education faculty and post- secondary teachers; any educators teaching the clothing and textiles content area in community college, trade schools, and Cooperative Extension Faculty; entrepreneurs and small business owners and employees, as well as bloggers.
