IRAs and Mutual Funds:

How to Build Wealth for a Secure Future

Who isn't worried about their investments these days? The market turmoil and down economy have created fear and uncertainty for individuals of all ages.

Yet we must invest anyway. Putting money under the mattress is still not a wise move. But who do you trust for advice in this post-Bernie Madoff era?

You need to trust yourself first. To do that, you must gain a full command-not just a working knowledge-of two of the most powerful investment tools available today: Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Mutual Funds. Whether you already have money invested this way or not, you need to know as much as possible about how they work, how to measure success, and how to avoid panic in a volatile economic climate.

Only then will you have the confidence to make the best choices for you and your family.

Two family and consumer sciences educators with over 30 years of experience have developed a special nuts and bolts program that will be delivered in a friendly, non-intimidating manner....and with no sales pitch.

Empower yourself at this educational webinar (1.5 PDUs):

IRAs and Mutual Funds: How To Build Wealth for a Secure Future

You can do it!

Selecting and monitoring performance of IRAs and mutual funds is not a science.

It does, however, require a solid understanding of the basic concepts and inner workings of these vital tools. But who needs another financial program that is overloaded with confusing financial jargon, which convinces you that you need a financial advisor to sort through it all?

This webinar is different. It is an unbiased look at IRAs and mutual funds that decodes the technical terms and shows you that you can make these decisions! Straight talk, in plain English.

In this 90-minute program, including Q&A, you will explore:

  • Similarities and differences between traditional and Roth IRAs
  • How to read a mutual fund prospectus
  • Pros and cons of each mutual fund category
  • Tax implications of mutual fund transactions

If you own mutual funds now, this program will increase your understanding of them. The program also will answer many questions investors often have such as should you establish or increase contributions to traditional or Roth IRAs.

Whether you are building a nest egg, saving for college, getting close to retirement age, or are already retired, this webinar will help you reach your financial goals while reducing the stress and anxiety that often accompany financial planning.

Already have a financial advisor?

Even if you have a financial advisor that you trust, or want to engage one, you are ultimately responsible for the decisions that are made about your future. This webinar will help you select advisors, evaluate them, and enable you to work better as a team.

Anywhere you go these days, the economy is a trending topic. The need for savvy financial consumers has never been greater. And, once again, FCS professionals can help lead the way by expanding their own knowledge of these simple-yet-complex investment options!
