About the Presenter:

Dr. Donna Hancock's research focuses on the consequences of parenting on adolescent outcomes. She has published her work in the Oxford Handbook of Juvenile Crime and Juvenile Justice, the Journal of Interpersonal Violence, the Journal of Leadership Education, and the Encyclopedia of Cultural Sociology of Divorce. She also teaches classes in child development and family science at Bridgewater College.  Dr. Hancock serves as the student and new professional representative for the National Council on Family Relations and as a peer-reviewer for several academic journals. She received Doctor of Philosophy degree in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Georgia.
