Spring Tune-Up Series

with Jim Wofford at Beverly

Get ready for the spring competitive season with Jim Wofford's spring tune-up series. Jim will teach a series of exercises and gymnastics to get you and your horse ready to go.  Depending on the weather, lessons will be taught in Beverly's lighted and heated indoor, outdoor sand arena, or maybe, even it's cross country field.

Small group lessons are $125 and auditors are welcome at $35. Put in the work now to be ready for the spring season.  The series will consist of four sessions.  The dates are:

Saturday, March 11, 9/10 am click here

Saturday, March 18, 9/10 am click here

Tuesday March 21, 9/10 am (click above)

Wednesday, March 29, 9/10 am (click here)

Jim will be basing the lessons on his years of experience coaching the top riders in the sport of eventing and on his recently updated book: MODERN GYMNASTICS: Systematic Training for Jumping Horses.  Get hands on instruction from Jim as he teaches you to teach your horse to jump, while strengthening your position and refining your aids.

Jim Wofford needs no introduction as he is an internationally known and respected three-time medal-winning Olympian in the sport of eventing, a member of both the USEA and Culver Military Academy's Hall of Fame, and recent recipient of the USEF Lifetime Achievement Award.

"Woff" kicked off Beverly's "Legends" series in 2012 and continues to be a guest trainer and frequent friend and visitor to the farm.

Clinic Information

As a guideline, the first lesson is for beginner to novice horse and riders and the second lesson is for training level hose and riders and above.  Jim will, however, adjust the exercises so they are appropriate for each horse and rider combination, so the current level of each combination is not critical for registration purposes.  Also, each lesson stands on its own, so if you miss a date, don't worry, you won't be left behind.

Sessions are $125 each and may be paid by check or credit card (a paypal account is not needed to pay by credit card.)  If you pay by credit card, please include the $5 credit card convenience fee.  Auditors are welcome at $35. Refunds for cancellations will only be given if your spot can be filled from the waitlist and subject to a $25 office fee.

Please be sure to sign a release for Beverly (click here to download) and Jim Wofford (click here to download).  Proof of negative coggins within one-year is required.
