This is an online event.Southminster Vacation Bible School
VBS online! We will spend the month of June exploring the Wilderness. Each week will feature a story of God's people in the wilderness of one sort or another. We will have some online interaction as well as activities for children and for families to do at home. Explore the wilderness and look for God's transforming love in our midst!
- Sunday evening at 5pm - Story on Facebook Live - posted online for viewing later as well. The activities for the week will also be posted.
- Thursday evening Zoom at 5pm each week to check in and gather virtually.
- Friday - during the week send project pictures and short videos so we can create a video of each week and how people are engaging in the stories.

"Journey in the Wilderness"
The wilderness takes many forms. In the Bible it is often the desert, stark and barren, but in life, the wilderness can be anywhere we feel lost and alone. Valuable lessons can be learned in the wilderness and it can be a place of transformation.
I see in the wilderness stories the following patterns: Enter and we grumble and complain, God provides for us, we begin to lean into trusting God and then transformation can happen.
