PeaceJam Northwest welcomes Nobel Peace Laureate Oscar Arias to Eugene, Oregon for the 2017 PeaceJam Youth Leadership Conference at the University of Oregon.
This incredible event is an opportunity for youth to come together for two days of community building, meaningful service, and skill building workshops, all under the guidance of a world leader for peace.
On March 11-12 2017, the University of Oregon will host former president of Costa Rica who won the Nobel Pize in 1987 for his efforts to resolve the Latin American Crisis.
PeaceJam is a global educational non profit organization which inspires youth to change the world as they draw inspiration from not only studying the lives of Nobel Peace Laureates, but also meeting them and working directly with them through the PeaceJam Conferences. Through PeaceJam, over 1.2 million youth have served for the past 20 years.
