  • Mike Torres, Owner, Dakota Ridge Auto

Mike Torres worked for Midas for 15 years as a master tech.  He was Top Tech in the country for the last 5 years, out of 1200 stores, before opening Dakota Ridge Automotive in 2008.  He was ASE master certified at 25 years old, and is currently ASE Advanced Master certified with over 15 current ASE Certifications and AAM certified.

Dakota Ridge is a very green shop with over 1200 solar panels and strong recycling program.  With just 3800 sq ft and 7 bays, the small shop does over 1.8 mil sales per year. Dakota Ridge curently employs 12 employees with greatly varying pay structures in place.

Linda Stones directs strategic development and delivery of HR initiatives for Distribution Center and District store personnel. She partners with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for change management, organization development, succession planning, HR benchmarking, and compensation systems. Her responsibilities for recruitment, hiring, employee development, benefits, diversity training, and disciplinary actions, and mentoring new Human Resources Managers in the Mountain Region.
