WiRE hosts a pau hana with State Energy Administrator Mark Glick, who was appointed to the position just 4 months ago. The State Energy Administrator, housed within the State Energy Office at the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, is responsible for energy programs, policy, planning, and emergency preparedness for the State of Hawaii. Mark will share his experience so far, elaborate on his vision for the future, and talk story with the women of WiRE.
This will be an informal event with about 10 minutes of formal program at 6:00 pm, with the rest of the time reserved for enjoying each others' company and discussing ways to work together.
The pau hana menu includes goat cheese won tons, roasted duck mu shu rolls, kahuku corn salad, Big Island ali'i mushroom salad with chili black bean sauce, and coconut macaroons. One drink (martini, cocktail, beer, or wine) is included.
