Then join Salamander Resorts & Hotels President Prem Devadas for a pre-opening tour of their newest luxury resort, the $100 million-plus Salamander Resort & Spa. The company, founded by noted entrepreneur and philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, owns, manages, and develops hotels, resorts and inns in the U.S. and abroad that reflect the authenticity and character of their local community.
Set amid 340 acres in Loudoun County’s lush wine and horse country, the Salamander Resort and Spa was named by Forbes magazine as one of the Top 20 Most Anticipated Hotel Openings in the world in 2013. Mr. Devadas will share his experience integrating resorts with local communities around the world and maximizing their impacts on local downtowns. Town Administrator, Martha Mason Semmes, will also share the Town’s strategy to help its existing business community leverage the success of such attractions.
