Museum of Medical History Lecture - Arequipa Sanatorium: Life in California’s Lung Resort for Women

The Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society’s Museum of Medical History will sponsor a free lecture at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Lynn Downey tells the story of her grandmother's experience in a Northern California tuberculosis sanatorium called Arequipa, where women with TB were treated from 1911 to 1957.
