Accommodation:

We have room for 27 athletes in the Main Clubhouse and there will be 5 coaches / support people staying at the Main Clubhouse. We will accept a total of 50 athlete participants to the camp; fees are reduced for off-site participants.

Camp participants not able to book accommodation for the camp in the Main Clubhouse might be able to reserve their own spots in the Bell Cabin of the Alpine Club. This cabin is not reserved for our group, but should have some availability; the rental fees for Bell Cabin space are payable to the Alpine Club, not to AASSA. Those participants staying in the Bell Cabin may still eat meals with and be able to access the Main Clubhouse in-between training; fees for meal plans are outlined below. AASSA will not be providing a parent or chaperone in the Bell Cabin.

Due to the limited number of spots available for athletes, there will be no available room for parents (other than coaches) at the camp.

Those skaters who do not end up staying in the Alpine Club can still take part in the camp and can choose to bring their own lunches or they can also choose to access meals served at the main clubhouse. Please fill out all applicable fields in the registration form.

Camp Outline:

This camp is geared towards two levels of training groups. One is T2T focused and the other is for advanced T2T and Junior skaters. Training volume will be adjusted for the two levels of groups. As the focus will be on longer duration aerobic training please ensure the athletes are capable of at least 90 minute bike rides, 2-3 hour hikes, and 60-90 minute in-line or dry-land sessions. The intent is for the athletes to enjoy their experience and be challenged. We will be doing 2 sessions each day using these types of activities, and although it is mostly low intensity, it is important that they are not overwhelmed by the amount of training. Coaches and parents please use your discretion for younger T2T athletes. Please contact Mike Marshall to inquire about younger athletes being ready.
