MIST Cluster Small Business Summit

 Join us for the next Marine Industries Science & Technology (MIST) Cluster Small Business Summit to be held in Meeting Room D of the INFINITY Science Center beginning at 9:00am on May 9, 2019.  This event will focus on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) offices at Stennis and in the region.  We will also provide an update on ProTech, NOAA’s procurement mechanism.

Refreshments will be provided. Lunch will be available for purchase at the INFINITY Cafeteria following the Summit for those who want to continue to network.

Additional Training Opportunity – Dr. Nick Cline from DCAA Consulting & Accounting Worldwide will be giving his class on DCAA-Compliant Cost Accounting Systems on May 7 and 8, also being held at the INFINITY Science Center.  Space is VERY limited; contact Laurie Jugan (laurie.jugan@usm.edu) if you are interested.  This offer, either free or greatly reduced for MIST Cluster members, provides valuable information on QuickBooks solutions for those looking do to business with the federal government.  Not knowing these guidelines can put a halt to your federal contracts without warning!  Dr. Cline will look over your accounting system and provide you steps to achieve compliance.
