The Marine Industries Science & Technology (MIST) Cluster is collaborating with the General Services Administration (GSA) for training on how to get on a GSA schedule. This training will be provided by GSA Contracting Officers who evaluate incoming proposals and will guide attendees through the submission process using Schedule 70 (Information Technology) as an example; however, information is applicable to getting on any GSA schedule. Helpful resources and web-based resources will be presented. The $25 per person fee covers coffee/water throughout the day and a bag lunch.
Training will take place at Stennis Space Center in Room 107 of the Conference Center located in the back of building 1100 on June 5, 2018 beginning at 9:00am. The planned agenda is as follows:
9:00am Welcome/Introduction
9:15am GSA Overview
9:45am Doing Business with GSA: How to get on Schedule 70, includes working lunch
Topics to include: SINs (Special Item Numbers), where to find solicitations, how to prepare an offer, required documents for submission
2:30pm Marketing Your GSA Contract
3:00pm Recent Experience Recount – Innovative Imaging and Research (I2R)
3:15pm One-on-one meetings with GSA Contracting Officers
