Oceans in Action
Business Matchmaking Opportunities 

On August 14th, The Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (MSET) will be hosting business matchmaking sessions at the Marine Technology Society’s TechSurge Oceans In Action Workshop at the IP Casino, in Biloxi. Oceans In Action focuses on the accomplishments of the government agencies, universities, and other industry organizations within the Gulf South region, featuring how marine technology is applied to real-world issues. 

Who should participate in these free matchmaking sessions?

  • ·         Small companies looking for business supplying marine products or services to
            local agencies and prime contractors    
  • ·         Organizations looking to expand their business in any aspect of marine
            technology
      
  • ·         Providers of marine supplies, equipment, or related products and services
  • ·         Individuals looking to license and commercialize patented  marine-related
            technologies

One-on-one matchmaking meetings will begin at 2:00pm on August 14thRegister below to select agency and prime contractor representatives to meet with. Brief descriptions of these organizations can be found at www.mset.org

Meeting times are limited and will be assigned based on a first-come/first-serve basis.  The deadline to schedule your meeting in advance is August 6th.  After that date, meetings can be scheduled at the workshop, provided appointments are still available.  Once the advanced meetings have been assigned, you will receive an email confirming your scheduled meeting(s).  Depending on the requests received for each organization, the duration of these meetings may vary. The maximum time allotted for each meeting will be 15 minutes.
