Celebrating Women's History Month and Honoring trailblazing women and girls strengthens our community and helps to build a more just future. This year's luncheon will be emceed by Commissioner Nancy Miller and we will enjoy a special keynote presentation by Dorothy "Dot" Inman-Johnson based on the theme Celebrating Women of Courage, Character and Commitment. Join us at the luncheon to honor our 2014 Trailblazers and Girls Can Do Anything! honorees.
Trailblazers
Each March during Women’s History Month, Oasis honors local women (ages 18 and over) who have created history by breaking through barriers and shattering glass ceilings. These women have blazed a trail in many different sectors, making the road easier for other women to follow. Their actions have changed our community and the future for all of us. We call these women Trailblazers.

Girls Can Do Anything! Honorees
In 2013, Oasis honored our first Girls Can Do Anything! Honoree. Girls Can Do Anything! Honorees are local trailblazing girls (under the age of 18). These girls have made a difference in their schools and community by doing something to pave the way for other young girls to follow.
