ORTIi Math Instruction Day - Nov 28th 

Strong instruction is a powerful tool in helping all students reach their full capacity in the understanding and application of mathematical thinking. This hands-on, dynamic, and engaging professional learning will advance participants mathematical knowledge and instructional practices for the advancement of student achievement. Powerful evidence-based math instruction, at any tier, is the "secret sauce" to meeting the needs of students at any level.

The first half of the day will be a deep study of the eight mathematical practices and how it applies to the K-5 classroom. The afternoon will split into grade band sessions with specific focus on topics relevant to your students needs. Kindergarten through second grade teachers will focus on number sense. Third through fifth grade teachers will dive deep into effective fractions instruction.

Lunch and coffee service will be provided. We will try our best to accommodate food restrictions.
