2016 Annual Spring Conference

Systematizing Support from the Student to the State:

April 28th and 29th, 2016

Join us at Oregon's foremost conference on Response to Intervention and evidence-based instructional practices! Educational leaders, trainers, researchers, teachers, and specialists from across Oregon will share current best practices for:

Come participate in over 100 breakout sessions and learn from more than 50 highly skilled, recognized experts in their fields. Presenters range from: Oregon Response to Instruction and Intervention, NW Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports, Oregon Department of Education, Center for Teaching and Learning (UO), Educational and Community Supports (UO), Portland State University, Lewis & Clark College, Education Northwest, Learning Forward Oregon, and school districts throughout Oregon.

Time, space and ORTIi coaches will be available to facilitate teaming and action planning. Bring your school or district team prepared to learn, plan, and then turn your conference experience into action that leads to sustainable improvements in the quality of teaching and learning in your district.

  • Thursday, April 28th - 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday, April 29, 8:00am - 3:00pm

Food: Coffee service and lunch will be provided both days.

Registration:

Registration for non-ORTIi districts will open March 1, 2016 and will close April 20, 2016.

Registration for ORTIi districts will open January 21,  and will close on April 20, 2016. If you are unsure if your district is part of the Oregon RTI project, there is a list on the front page of our website, www.oregonrti.org.

We have a capacity for 700 attendees this year. However, with nearly 90 districts in the project and many non-ORTIi districts eager to attend, it is anticipated the conference will fill quickly. Registration will be accepted in the order received. Register early!

Accommodations:

Cost:

  • ORTIi Districts: There is no cost to attendees from districts that are current or past districts. If you are unsure if your district is part of the Oregon RTI project, there is a list on the front page of our website, www.oregonrti.org.
  • Non-ORTIi Districts: Registration is $100 for one day or $150 for both days to cover the cost of food and other expenses associated with the conference. This fee must be received in our office before April 15th. If your payment is NOT received, your spot will be released. **
  • Presenters: There is no cost to presenters. Presenters must register if they plan to attend any sessions or join us for lunch.
  • Students: The cost for currently enrolled full-time students with a valid student ID is $15 per day and must be received in our office before April 15th. If your payment is not received, your spot will be released. **

**You may pay by check or credit card. You will receive an email with the payment link, after your registration is complete, if you want to pay by credit card. If you pay by check, please put attention to Christie Rivas on the envelope.

Cancellation Policy: Registration may be cancelled without penalty up until the end of business Friday, April 8th. After that date, if you are registered and do not attend, ORTIi districts will be charged $50 per person, per day cancellation fee. Registrants from non-ORTIi districts will forfeit their registration fee.
