Drag Brunch at Modern Electric Lunch - Early Seating

Doctors Manitoba in partnership with the members of the 2SLGBTQ+ student community and MMSA Vice Stick Internal would like to invite you to a connection event for 2SLGBTQ+ Physicians, Residents and Medical Students.

This Drag Brunch will be an opportunity for 2SLGBTQ+ members of Doctors Manitoba to network and create connections throughout the profession.

Join us for Drag Brunch hosted by Glimmer (@callherglimmer) of the University Student Drag Association. Performers include: Peppermint Phattie (@peppermintphattie) and Hellen Bedd (@hellenbeddqueen). Tipping the performers is encouraged, and there is no ATM on site!

All guests can select their choice of meal, and will receive a mimosa and tea or coffee. Any additional beverages may be purchased on site. Meal options include:

Eggs Benedict

Lemon dill scone, asparagus, ham, poached egg, brown butter hollandaise, dill. (Can be vegetarian)

Mushroom Hash

Smashed baby potatoes, roasted mushrooms, whipped goat cheese, roasted red pepper hummus, poached eggs, herbs. (Can be made vegan - remove eggs and cheese, add avocado)

Pistachio Ricotta Pancakes

Two buttermilk pancakes, whipped maple ricotta, maple syrup, candied lemon zest, pistachio tuile. (Vegetarian)

Overnight Oats

Vegan peanut butter oats, raspberry coulis, fresh berries, mint, hemp seeds, maple syrup.

Please arrive for 1:00pm, so there is ample time to enjoy the performances, food and company.
