Drone On: How Flying Robots Will Affect Our Lives, Laws and Insurance

Presented by

Damon Willens

Partner, Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP

  • What are drones and how did they suddenly go from hobbyists' basements to a multi-billion dollar industry?
  • What are the current laws for drones?  Who decides where and how they can be flown?  Should we worry about them running amok?  Taking over the world?
  • Is there insurance coverage for drones?  How can we manage this emerging risk?
  • Special bonus: New drone laws issued in June.  What do they mean?

Mr. Willens is a partner at Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP in Los Angeles, where he leads the firm's Aviation and Unmanned Aerial Sytems practice.
