Registration Fees
Player: $175
Foursome: $600
Registering as a foursome is not required. Singles and smaller groups will be paired with other individuals.
Player spots will be limited so early registration is encouraged.
Deadline to register is June 19, 2017.
Registration Includes:
- Sleeve of golf balls
- Access to driving range and practice facilities
- Boxed lunch before the round
- Alcoholic beverages and snacks on course during the round

The Institute of Internal Auditors Washington, D.C. chapter is sponsoring the 2nd Annual IIA Charity Golf Tournament at International Country Club in Fairfax, Virginia. International Country Club is a private country club that earned the distinction of being ranked in the Virginia State Golf Association Foundation’s top 25 golf courses, and was recently awarded the Best Golf Course in Fairfax for 2016 by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Association
The tournament will be an opportunity to golf and network with area professionals while supporting the University of Maryland-College Park Scholarship Fund for students pursuing careers in Internal Audit. The money raised at the tournament will contribute to the scholarship fund-IA track as well as a one-year membership to the IIA D.C. Chapter for the selected student.
The University of Maryland’s Smith School specifically offers an Internal Auditing Track which develops and prepares for a career helping organizations make their business processes better controlled and more economical, efficient, and effective. Attracting young professionals to our field and providing them with the right set of skills is crucially important for the future of our profession.
Tournament Rules
The tournament will be Captain's Choice Scramble format. The rules of play will be distributed on each cart and reviewed before the shotgun start at 1:00 pm. The tournament will be held rain or shine.
Each player will have the opportunity to buy mulligans for $20 for 1, $30 for 2.
Max of 2 mulligans per player.
