Fun Steam FARM Camps at Plainsboro Rec Center (Jul 12-16, 2021)
Description: Multidisciplinary STEAM Camp engages children’s imagination and problem-solving skills to build, code, design and shape a better world. Children will engage in age-appropriate hands-on building, gaming, coding, robotics, and engineering activities. Morning 9-12; afternoon 1-4pm.
Spark creativity and bolster a deep interest in Science, Math and Arts in children and young adults through hands-on practical learning by "Making"! Our Academy is uniquely focused towards fostering and developing essential 21st Century and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) skills like Problem-Solving, Critical thinking, Creativity and Collaboration in a hands-on and practical but fun learning environment. We believe that "Making" can transform the way we all learn, from preschoolers through retirees.
Ages K-6 Grades; Outdoor STEAM FARM Camp: Campers learn about the STEAM farm program – Drones, Solar Panels, Wind Mills, Farm-Table Agriculture, Conservation Food Cycle, Sustainability …and Much More! Campers will learn to play with STEAM tools in the context of sustainability. How best to rely on technology to create new sources of energy, while having FUN at the same time?
