A fun fishing tournament with unique trophies and        cash prizes. Invite your family, friends, co-workers, young anglers to come join us for the annual Missy King's Hookin for Habitat Fishing Tournament.  Hosted by Kountry Girl Salon and Habitat for Humanity of Marion County.

The Tournament promotes a healthy and friendly outdoor experience for the entire family and encourages the youth to be involved and learn about fishing and our waterways.

All proceeds will be used towards the construction       of a new Habitat home for low-income families with affordable mortgage payments.

If your sponsorship level includes a loo on the awesome, cool event shirt - all logos must be emailed by April 27, 2023. Shirts    will be ordered and printed for the event. 

Release of Liability: It is expressly understood that any and all participants in the Missy King’s Hookin’ for Habitat Fishing Tournament enter at their own risk, and that anyone associated with the coordination of this tournament and those friends and businesses that have made donations shall be held harmless, indemnified and exempt from any liability for liable, slander, loss, damage, negligence, harm, injury or death suffered by  any participant, entrant, their companions or guests while participation in or before, during and after  tournament. I have read and understand the above release statement and do hereby release anyone  connected with the coordination of this tournament and those friends and businesses that have made      donation including sponsors from all liability as stated above. Fishing Tournament Information

Sponsors and Anglers Kick-off party -                                            Friday, May 19, 2023 Doors open at 5:00 pm, dinner served at    6:00 pm. at the Back 40 Barn 11740 N Farmwood Ave Dunnellon, Fl  (in Citrus County).

There will be  DINNER, 50/50 split the pot, Chance/raffle drawings and silent auction items available. All Anglers are encouraged to attend to obtain the rules of the tournament,         weigh-in rules, times and location and to win some great items.      All youth are encouraged to attend.

Tournament times - SAFELIGHT to 4:00 PM

Weigh-in Station - Saturday, May 20, 2023 from                        12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Captains Cove Outfitters 39 Hwy 40 West, Inglis, FL (behind the huge ice machine).                                                                          Fish MUST be at weigh-in by 4:00 PM, or fish will be disqualified - 

Lunch & snacks served at weigh-in          ______________________________________ 

Anglers - $75 per angler or $260 for a TEAM OF FOUR includes  dinner at the Anglers Kick-off event, event fishing shirt (if ordered  before deadline), swag items, lunch at weigh-in  

You can Fish alone, or with a group (no limit), fish from a boat, paddle boat, kayak, canoe, inflattable tube, paddle board, jet ski   or simply put your toes in the water. You can fish from the          Gulf of Mexico or surrounding waterways - saltwater fish only.           _____________________________________

Youth Division - $10 each - 2 divisions - Ages 3-8 & 9-13  includes Anglers Kick-off party, and a Youth event fishing shirt - (if ordered by deadline of May 1st). Must be accompanied by a registered angler.          _______________________________________________________

Social Dinner ONLY - $25 - includes the Angler Kick-off event and all activities at the dinner. - no fishing and no event shirt 

Fishing Shirts are available for purchase depending on the quanity available for $25. 

RIZES: (based on paid teams, payout may vary & change throughout registration) All fish must be of legal weight and length - Winners selected by the heaviest fish in each category except for the ugliest fish category. Anglers can enter ONE fish per category. If a tie (same weight), it goes to the first angler to record their catch.

Youth Division - Sponsored by Pro John King 

2 divisions Ages 3-8 & 9-13 - $10 each          

Longest Legal Fish- 1st & 2nd place winners from each division will receive Prize and bragging rights 

**- Youth anglers must be with a registered angler in order to participate in the tournament. Youth Anglers can only submit their catch under Youth Division. 

All proceeds benefit the Habitat for Humanity of Marion County Home Ownership program giving low-income families the opportunity of home ownership with affordable mortgage payments.
