The Northeast Ohio School of Ministry is offering two classes for the Spring 2018 term. The registration deadline is Friday, March 23.
Spiritual Discplines
Class Fee: $100
Audit Fee: $65
Instructor: Rev. Anissa Glaser-Bacon
Description: The Spiritual Disciplines course provides instruction in historic religious practices (sometimes with a modern twist). Every week students will learn a new spiritual practice that each participant will live with during that week. Each class will consist of a partial time of discussion about the previous week's experiences with the given spiritual practice followed by an introduction of a new spiritual practice. Hopefully this will provide students with tools to deepen their own spiritual faith and encourage the faith of those around them.
Dates: Thursdays, April 5-May 10
Time: 6-9PM
Place: The first class will be at New Vision UCC • 3129 Market Ave N • Canton. The remaining classes will be at a central location based on student enrollment.
Texts: All texts will be provided online via a course website that will be available to all at no cost to the student.
