Play Like a Champion Today

Coach's Clinic 

The Play Like a Champion Today Educational Series provides leadership in a worldwide effort to promote an inclusive, developmentally-oriented youth sports culture. It does this primarily by educating ethically responsible sport leaders - coaches, parents, athletic administrators and athletes - who in turn will reach millions of young people. Our research-based, nonprofit initiative is unique in its focus on fostering moral and spiritual development through sports.

The  Boston Catholic Athletics (CYO)  has teamed up with the University of Notre Dame to bring Play Like a Champion Today to the Archdiocese of Boston to train our leaders in the ministry of coaching and to help them  develop our young players into athletes for Christ. 

All those who serve in the ministry of coaching with Boston Catholic Athletics (CYO) are required to complete the Play Like a Champion Today coach's certification clinic.  Head coaches must complete the clinic by January of 2020 and assitant coaches are required to complete the clinic by April 2020.
