You are invited to participate in HOI's Bleeding Disorder Hill Day!

HOI's goal is to raise awareness for bleeding disorders.  Our goal is to make bleeding disorders known among legislators.  We will be talking to legilators about pressing issues to the state of Iowa. Please consider joining us, click on Register Now below to attend!

Thursday February 28th 

7:00am-8:30am Hotel checkout 

8:30am-9:00am Shuttle to Capitol Building 

9:00am-12:00pm Attend Legislative Meetings 

12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch

1:00pm-2:00pm Attend Legislative Meetings

2:00pm-3:00pm Formal signing of Bleeding Disorder Awareness Month Proclamation 

3:00pm-4:00pm  Shuttle back to hotel

4:00pm-4:30pm Meeting de-breif and surveys 

HOI will provide lunch to all attendees.  Parking vouchers will be given to all 2017 HOI Members that attend.  If possible we do ask that attendees become members prior to this venue.  It is important for our organization to report we have 100% of attendees are members of our organization.  Membership can be found online at www.hemophiliaofiowa.org. 

Following the Legislative meetings, HOI will have a de-briefing session at a specific location for input and time to survey our members in attendance on the visits that took place, provide follow-up to the Advocacy Committee and what must happen post-event.
