New twist on an Old Friend!
The learning opportunity we've been hoping would come along is finally here.
MEMSPA introduces Leverage Leadership Cohort #6 “HYBRID” Style. MEMSPA and Dr. Debbie McFalone are excited to share this “blended” format with Michigan Leaders of Learning. The same engaging content which focuses on sharing individualized, frequent feedback to teachers about their instructional practice, and building the capacity to offer skillful feedback and direction to teacher teams, but delivered within a hybrid format consisting of face-to-face sessions, time to reflect, and online learning opportunities! The learning kicks off at the MEMSPA Annual Conference in December at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme and wraps-up at the MEMSPA Summer Leadership Institute which takes place at the Radisson in Kalamazoo for 2018. (Special NOTE: Registration for Hybrid LL does NOT include registration for the MEMSPA Annual Conference and Summer Institute; however, MEMSPA will offer a DISCOUNT for Hybrid LL attendees! Be sure to call MEMSPA and ask for the discount code BEFORE registering for these events). MEMSPA and Debbie are confident that this “New Twist” on an Old Favorite may be just what many have been waiting for, click here to view the complete schedule and to register!
Based on Leverage Leadership, this learning series will assist principals in:
This opportunity promises facilitated, ongoing professional learning, focused on developing
the skills that create the most significant
improvements in student learning, shared with
our colleagues in a format that supports our own development, sustainability and renewal.
This 5-part learning series will provide principals with specific skills for working with teachers in ways that impact student achievement: fostering a relentless commitment to offer individualized, frequent feedback to teachers about their instructional practice, and building the capacity to offer skillful feedback and direction to teacher teams. Video clips and role playing will be used to demonstrate and practice effective principal/teacher coaching sessions.
Facilitator
