In this session Carson and Apollo will discuss the pros and cons of ascending techniques and other tips to make working in trees more comfortable and efficient.

Root Cause Incident Analysis

In this provocative presentation Carson will take you through an incident analysis process to find to find the root cause(s) of why an incident occurred. The answer is often not initially obvious.

Rob Calley
Backridge Tree Service - Fort Walton Beach, FL
Rob Calley is an ISA Certified Arborist and owns Backridge Tree Service in Florida’s panhandle. Rob has been on the Florida Chapter board of directors for 3 years, currently as the Climbing Representative. He has climbed in several Florida TCC events and will be climbing again this year.

Adam Jackson
Davey Tree - Orlando, FL
Adam Jackson is a graduate of Myerscough College in Preston, England with a diploma in landscape design and installation.  Adam came to the United States in 1998 to complete an internship with ValleyCrest (then Environmental Care Industries).  He currently works for Davey Tree. Adam is an ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Worker/Climber Specialist and currently is the chair of the Florida Chapter TCC. Adam serves on the current Florida ISA board of directors

Apollo O’Neil
O’Neil’s Tree Service - Palm Harbor, FL
Apollo O’Neil is an ISA Certified Arborist; he owns O’Neil’s Tree Service in the Tampa area. In 2014 Apollo received the Florida ISA Loren Westenberger Award which recognizes arborists who practice the professional principles of arboriculture consistent with the mission and objectives of the Florida Chapter ISA to better the environment for future generations.

Carson Smith
O’Neil’s Tree Service - Palm Harbor, FL
Carson Smith is an ISA Certified Tree Worker and a Certified Arborist. He works for O’Neil’s Tree Service in the Tampa area. Carson returns to teach at the Outdoor Tree School again this year. He has competed in the Florida TCC event for several years and will be competing again this year.

Celeste White
UF-IFAS Orange County Extension - Orlando, FL
Celeste White is a Commercial Horticulture agent at the UF-IFAS Orange County Extension. She earned her B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Maryland. Celeste is a certified arborist, past president of Florida Chapter ISA and past president of the Florida Urban Forestry Council.
